Philadelphia, PA – The Young Professionals Network (YPN) of the Greater Philadelphia
Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GPHCC) invites all Hispanic professionals and emerging leaders to attend the Próximo Nivel Young Professionals Conference on December 1 at Esperanza. St. Joseph’s University will sponsor the conference while Comcast NBCUniversal, UPS, and Aramark are sponsors of the YPN. Our “new normal” has opened new opportunities for professionals to showcase their leadership potential in
addition to their skills and qualifications for any job. The in-person conference will focus on leadership skills, including a fireside chat with the Honorable Judge Nelson Diaz, and will provide a networking opportunity that has been missing from professional’s lives for some time.

“This year’s Proximo Nivel Conference focuses on ‘scaling up’ the advancement of emerging Hispanic leaders and upward bound Hispanic professionals,” said Jennifer Rodriguez, President & CEO of GPHCC. “If the pandemic has taught us anything, it’s that we are now working in an environment where the nimble leaders with a strong personal brand will move forward in responsibility.”

The conference will provide professional development focused on leadership and will include workshops on public speaking and mentoring others, plus a fireside chat with former judge Nelson Diaz.

Committed to giving young professionals the knowledge to get to the next level, the conference will continue with programming around key leadership skills including public speaking through a partnership with Toastmasters and learning to mentor professionals and small businesses through the Venture Mentoring Team. Professional reputation greatly helps anyone looking to advance in their career, whether building a corporate profile or as an entrepreneur, which is why a fireside chat on personal brand nd leadership will feature the Honorable Judge Nelson Diaz, who recently had a professorship named after him at Temple University’s Beasley School of Law.

The safety of our members and our guests are our top priority. Attendees will be asked to show ID with proof of vaccination or negative Covid-19 test results within 48 hours of the event. Masks will also be required during the entire conference.
