Philadelphia, PA.- Held on February 29th, the celebration of the first anniversary of the Giraldo Real Estate Group (GREG) branch office included an impactful industry panel discussion that drew nearly 100 attendees. This event highlighted the significant growth and positive influence of the local businesses has become a pillar of prosperity within the Latino community. 

Founded in 2007 by Carlos Giraldo, GREG has weathered economic challenges and emerged as an award-winning brokerage. Dedicated to serving the Hispanic market with expertise and integrity, the company has witnessed exponential growth. From humble beginnings, it now employs over 50 team members in Philadelphia, with an additional 10 stationed worldwide.  GREG’s reach extends to assisting over 3,000 local families annually, solidifying its success story and demonstrating the potential of Latino businesses to thrive and contribute significantly to their communities.

The anniversary event featured a distinguished panel: Jennifer Rodriguez (President & CEO, Greater Philadelphia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce), Terri Parker (Divisional Vice President, CrossCountry Mortgage), and Carlos Giraldo (President & Broker of Record, GREG). Their insightful discussions centered on the future of Philadelphia’s real estate market, regional economic forecasts, and current mortgage trends, offering valuable insights into the industry’s trajectory.

Jennifer Rodriguez addressed the significance of overcoming challenges: «In business and leadership, it’s crucial to understand that failure is inevitable. There will be moments when we face setbacks or when our efforts don’t yield the expected results. The key lies in how we respond to these failures. Embracing a mindset of resilience and swift action is essential. By acknowledging a failure early and taking immediate steps to address it, we can navigate challenges more effectively. It’s about failing fast, learning from the experience, and moving forward with renewed insight.»

Carlos Giraldo shared his vision for the city, urging attendees to embrace personal responsibility and community pride: «If you don’t do what needs to be done today, you may not be ready for tomorrow… Pay your taxes and just care and love your city. I think we can change this city around. And I believe that if we all took the leadership it takes as individuals to make that happen, Philadelphia could be one of the most beautiful and coolest cities in the world.»

Looking ahead, GREG plans to further contribute to the Philadelphia community through quarterly events. An Art Exhibition and Spring Festival are slated for April. These initiatives exemplify the company’s commitment to leading by example, not just through real estate services but also by playing a pivotal role in fostering community development and empowerment.
