Free Rides Start at Halftime, Continue for Two Hours After Game

Throughout the regular season, Unibet, an official casino and sportsbook partner of the Philadelphia Eagles, will help Eagles fans get home safely after each Eagles home game by sponsoring free rides home from NRG Station on the Broad Street Line. NRG Station provides service to venues at the Sports Complex in South Philadelphia, including Lincoln Financial Field.
The free rides begin at halftime and run for two hours post-game or until the last scheduled train departs. Kickoff for this NFC Championship rematch against the San Francisco 49ers at the Linc is at 4:25 p.m. on December 3. Regular fares apply for all Broad Street Line travel to the game.

Increase in ridership
SEPTA has seen a 3% increase in Broad Street Line ridership this year on Eagles game day compared to pre-Covid numbers in 2019. Additionally, 2023 has been the best year for ridership from NRG Station since the Free Rides Home program started in 2013.

“After a successful start to our partnership with SEPTA during the Eagles playoff run last year, Unibet is excited to extend our relationship into this football season. As a proud casino and sportsbook partner of the Philadelphia Eagles, Unibet strives to enhance the fan experience while also reminding our customers to play responsibly. Being able to provide Eagles fans with safe and free transportation home from the game is a fantastic opportunity for Unibet to demonstrate that commitment as well as our appreciation for Philadelphia residents and Eagles fans,” said Manuel Stan, SVP of North America, Kindred Group.

“SEPTA is thrilled to partner with Unibet again to provide free rides home from Eagles’ games,” said SEPTA CEO and General Manager Leslie S. Richards. “This is such an exciting time for our city and region, and SEPTA is ready with extra game-day service for fans. We will also have additional personnel on the system to assist riders and to help ensure that their travel is safe, secure, and convenient.”

Game-Day Connections
Eagles fans can connect with the Broad Street Line from dozens of bus routes, and there is a free transfer from the Market-Frankford Line and City Trolley routes at 15th
Street/City Hall. The Broad Street Line is also just a short walk from Regional Rail Stations in Center City and is also easily accessible from the PATCO High Speed Line for fans from South Jersey.

Extra service
Express service will be offered from Fern Rock Station to NRG Station beginning at 11:30 a.m. until 3:40 p.m.

SEPTA strongly urges riders to go directly to NRG Station after the game so that they can catch both the Broad Street Line and connecting services.

New Fare Payment Options Credit/debit card, in physical form or through apps like Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay, are now being accepted on city and suburban buses, trolleys, Market-Frankford Line, Broad Street Line, and the Norristown High Speed Line, at any turnstile with a simple tap on the fare validator, or as they board a bus or trolley. Regional Rail will have a separate rollout for contactless payments early next year, however credit/debit card payments are accepted now by presenting your card to the train conductor.
