You sinned against the flag, the Constitution, and human decency
Today, you and your friends showed up at our workplaces, our homes, our taco stands, and at our immigration hearings. You chased us down agricultural fields in your camouflage uniforms, covering your faces, with a blank space where your name and badge number should be. What is the government afraid of, as they carry out these illegal arrests and acts of terror?
Meanwhile, we don’t know your agency or the marching orders you were given, and as of now, we don’t know your names or where you live. But all that could change in the weeks and months ahead.
Eventually, if hackers and FOIA requests move forward, we will find your agency and your name, and through the internet, we will have your picture.
Just think what your family and friends will be thinking once they see you beating a humble worker or tearing the arms of a woman, who runs a taco truck, away from a jacaranda tree as she tries to avoid being swept away by kidnappers. What about the pictures of you all arresting folks for going to an immigration hearing? There are thousands of these videos. The father of three Marines was punched in the head and detained by ICE in California.
Narciso Barranco, a father of three U.S. Marines, was detained and punched in the head by federal agents while working as a landscaper in California. Video captured the moment he was confronted by the agents.
It’s interesting that when Mr. Barranco was able to speak with his son, who is now out of the Marines, he said, “Please, go finish the job and secure my equipment.”
His sons and Mr. Barranco love America.
The insults and swear words have not yet been created to adequately address your most inhumane actions. Some of you will be uncovered sooner, as certain cases go to court, and you might have to testify on behalf of this crooked administration.
In Shakespeare’s play Julius Caesar, the quote is: “The evil that men do lives after them; the good is oft interred with their bones.” Here, Mark Antony in Julius Caesar (Act 3, Scene 2), reflects on how people’s wrongdoings are remembered after death, while their good deeds are often forgotten.
There will be little good to be buried with Trump and his team’s bones, and yes, that includes everyone, including those who knew better and still chose to do wrong.
You and the public should know: Trump and the MAGA madmen and women will not pay for your lawyer or your legal fees when you go to court.
When dictatorships end, like this one will, we will see many abusers taken to court, and many banished by their own communities.
One only needs to look at Chile, Argentina, and South Africa to see how they discovered the abusers and their commanders.
The people being abused, arrested, and deported are not hardened criminals. And if you’re so proud of what you’re doing, why don’t you stand up now, take your mask off, and let the people see who you are?
Sooner or later, your identity will come out. If you know someone being used as an abusive soldier or police agent, ask them to step away, come clean, and explain to their family and community why they did wrong to our country.
The government should never be able to say someone is resisting arrest when the men haven’t properly identified themselves. And some who are pushing back say that since the vehicles used are unmarked, one isn’t damaging government property by putting sugar in the gas tank or letting the air out of the tires. Some are even planning to park their vehicles inches away from these unmarked vans so they cannot be moved. All of these ideas come from people frustrated by this insane deportation strategy.
Others are thinking of blocking street exits with their vehicles, so that no one can leave, and some have said they might even chain themselves to these unmarked vehicles.
Oh, and by the way, who is providing these vehicles, and how much profit is being made?
People are dying in custody. Constitutional rights are being denied. Families are being broken up. Communities are being terrorized every single day. This is a dark and ugly chapter in our history.
Remember: the only gang recorded on tape beating cops, breaking into a federal building, causing the loss of life, defiling our Capitol, and wanting to hang the Vice President was The Proud Boys.
