wo people are dead in Minnesota. Others around the country have been beaten or have died while in the custody of Homeland Security. Agents are arresting children, U.S. citizens, individuals who are following the proper immigration process, and even students at school. They are terrorizing our streets.
This White House administration has unleashed a massive force of untrained, undisciplined, uniformed agents to intimidate communities across our nation.
And Republicans—joined by a few Democrats—have funded the creation of this private army, one that targets so‑called “Blue States” while ignoring “Red States,” many of which face even higher crime rates.
Members of Congress, like the President and Vice President, swear an oath to protect our country from enemies abroad and within.
Therefore, those who claim to defend the Constitution should be demanding an end to this rogue immigration army.
If we saw another country facing this type of armed violence from within, we would recognize these signs—this upheaval and unrest—as the early stages of a civil conflict.
Videos show up to 50 agents marching through our streets. We see masked officers carrying long rifles to apprehend a single person. It often takes five to ten of them to arrest a humble worker. They ram cars, smash windows, and attack peaceful marchers and resisters. The laws and the Constitution are tossed aside. And despite all these abuses of power, not one agent has been sanctioned or disciplined.
Agents are being told—falsely—that they have full immunity to act abusively and to use deadly force.
Organizations and communities nationwide are collecting evidence of these abuses, and many agents may eventually face legal consequences. Some will be found guilty and held liable for civil damages. Trump will not be able to pardon them if they are charged at the state or local level, nor will he fund or organize a legal defense for them.
They will be abandoned—left to face financial ruin as their names and photos spread across the media, condemned for their actions.
We were told they were only arresting dangerous criminals—drug traffickers, murderers, and rapists. In reality, more than 75% of those detained have no criminal record. The administration refuses to let Congress review the files to verify the supposed crimes of those arrested.
Now, in response to widespread outrage—from athletes, faith leaders, students, unions, and many others—Trump appears to be making staffing changes within his deportation program. But we must not be fooled. These so‑called new leaders will enforce the same program with the same violence and abuse.
This is why many are calling for ICE to be defunded. These operations do not make our streets safer. They foster violence and spread fear—especially among children.
Remember: this program was built on lies from the White House. For the past 12 months, we have witnessed lie after lie. The most recent falsehoods surrounding the deaths of two peaceful individuals have been especially cruel, filled with bizarre and hateful statements from MAGA representatives and those overseeing this bloody, racist program.
In the meantime, we must persist. We must resist. We must demand that a special master take control of DHS—or, if that is not possible, that Congress defund the portion of the budget enabling these first steps toward a civil conflict.
Ya basta. Enough is enough. ¡Stop!
