Cristian Marín es originario de Medellín, Colombia. Desde pequeño le gustaba el fútbol, pero en el estadio de su ciudad, el Atanasio Girardot, empezó a descrubrir una nueva pasión mirando lo que ocurría en las cabinas de transmisión radial. La magia de ese medio que estimula la imaginación le reveló su truco y con él un llamado contundente para estar ahí.
Fue así como Cristian se convirtió en periodista deportivo en la radio y posteriormente pasó a la televisión local como reportero del estado del tiempo. Su experiencia lo llevó a otro lugar de la campaña y fungió como presentador y periodista de noticias generales en su ciudad natal.
Es comunicador audiovisual de profesión con Maestría en Comunicación e Identidad Corporativa. Con el lente y el teclado se dedica a buscar la belleza escondida en las historias. Desde el 2022 vive en Filadelfia y combina su pasión por los deportes de resistencia con su deseo de relatar lo que ocurre en las calles de la ciudad.

Hails from Medellín, Colombia, where his early love for soccer led him to the city’s iconic Atanasio Girardot Stadium. But it was there, watching the radio broadcast booths in action, that he discovered a deeper passion—the captivating world of radio journalism. The magic of radio, with its power to spark imagination, called him to be part of it.
Cristian began his career as a sports journalist on radio, later transitioning to local television as a weather reporter. His versatility and curiosity soon led him to broader roles in the newsroom, where he served as both a news anchor and general assignment reporter in his hometown.
He holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication and a master’s in Communication and Corporate Identity. With a camera in hand and a keyboard at his fingertips, Cristian seeks out the hidden beauty in everyday stories.
Since relocating to Philadelphia in 2022, he has continued to blend his passion for endurance sports with his commitment to storytelling—capturing the pulse of the city through the lives and experiences unfolding on its streets.
