For the fifteenth consecutive year, Saint Christopher’s Children’s Hospital is organizing a summer carnival with free backpack giveaways for students. The event will include the help and participation of students and faculty members from Drexel University College of Medicine.
The organization announces that there will be great food, fun games, free community resources for families, and free backpacks filled with school supplies, available while supplies last. Please note that children must be present to receive a backpack.
Since the first carnival hosted by this prestigious medical center, the event has brought smiles to nearly 15,000 children and their families and has provided essential school supplies to hundreds of students.
The event, organized by the Center for Children and Youth with Special Medical Needs at St. Christopher’s and Drexel University College of Medicine, will take place on August 8th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the hospital’s parking lot.
