McCormick and National Republicans File Lawsuits Across the Commonwealth to Throw Out Provisional Ballots Cast by Eligible Voters

PENNSYLVANIA – Bob Casey for Senate released the following statement in light of David McCormick’s extensive litigation to throw out provisional ballots across the state over minor mistakes – often on the part of poll workers or election officials – that have no bearing on a ballot’s validity or a voter’s eligibility.

Statement from Tiernan Donohue, campaign manager for Bob Casey for Senate:

“Senator Casey is fighting to ensure Pennsylvanians’ voices are heard and to protect their right to participate in our democracy – just like he has done throughout his entire career. Meanwhile, David McCormick and the national Republicans are working to throw out provisional ballots cast by eligible Pennsylvania voters and accepted by county boards. It is wrong and we will fight it.”
